Royal Children’s Hospital

The Royal Children’s Hospital in Flemington, Melbourne, undertook a major infrastructure revamp to HVAC&R systems. Project contractors Smith and AE Coombes specified CTS Flange throughout. The scope of the project required hundreds of Flanges, ranging from 32mm to 200mm, to be used in a variety of gauges and applications.

Project duration was in excess of 18 months. Utilising CTS Flange resulted in time and labour savings of approx 20% over conventional steel flange systems. Reduced maintencance costs will continue to deliver benefits over the lifespan of the building.
